Shangri-La was built on one level, to offer spacious accommodations of exceptional comfort for up to eight people. The property is particularly well suited to outdoor living, entertaining, and special events. The house was built by Harry Llewellyn, a noted equestrian whose son Roddy was engaged to Princess Margaret.
She stayed at the Villa many times on her way to Mustique, and the Princess Margaret Room in Shangri-La is dedicated to her. You approach Shangri-La via a majestic 75ft. drive lined with stately Mahogany trees, and giant ferns. The grounds are sumptuously appointed with tropical plants and fruit trees that surround the house, a traditional Spanish Hacienda. Please see our main website for complete details on Villa Shangri La.
