THINGS TO DO ON A CARIBBEAN HOLIDAY IN SAINT MARTIN
There are many things you could do on holiday in the Caribbean islands, you go swimming in the crystal clear Caribbean Sea, you can lay beneath a cloudless sky on the golden sands that stretch for miles and miles or laze about in a hammock tied between two palm trees and let the gentle Caribbean breeze rock you to and fro until you drift off into a peaceful, rum induced slumber until it was time to get dressed and enjoy a really exotic meal of fresh caught lobster, you could then take a romantic walk along the moonlit beach until the sandman called you to a fitful nights slumber.
You could do that; if you were sane you could do that, but not a certain Mr. M Clarke of Jamaican Treasures, Oh no! He takes his spouse to sit in a bar with bloody great big KLM 785 Jumbo jets roaring overhead and I do mean “over head” to land a few yards away in Princess Juliana Airport on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. To be fair, he does support Blackpool and he isn’t the only person doing this, oh no! At Maho beach they queue up to let these monsters roar in overhead, others wait for the giant planes to taxi along by the airport fence and hang on like Sylvester the Cat to the chain fence whilst being blown out of their shoes. Its great fun…I suppose.
So, if you fancy taking your loved one to see mighty jets roar in up close, then Maho Beach in Saint Martin is the place for you. Michael tells me he’s off to Krakatoa, a place East of Java next, I wonder what’s there?
